Kingdom Life Outreach Center Ministries (KLOC) is a Christ-centered outreach ministry called to extend the love of God beyond the walls of the traditional church by building and equipping leaders, serving people, strengthening communities, and connecting individuals and families with spiritual and practical resources that promote hope, healing, growth, and restoration in the Maryland, Ohio, & Washington DC regions.

Following Christ's example of going where people are and responding with compassion to their spiritual and practical needs, KLOC develops and empowers ministry leaders to use their God-given gifts in service to others. Rather than functioning primarily as a traditional congregational church, KLOC serves as a ministry of outreach, leadership development, community engagement, and Christian service.

Our purpose is rooted in Christ's commission to "go...and teach all nations" (Matthew 28:19–20), His declaration that He came "to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10), and His example of compassionate ministry among the people (Matthew 9:35–38). We embrace His words, "As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you" (John 20:21), recognizing that followers of Christ are called not only to gather, but also to go.

KLOC therefore seeks to build and equip leaders "for the work of the ministry" (Ephesians 4:11–12), to be Christ's witnesses in our communities and beyond (Acts 1:8), to serve as "ambassadors for Christ" through the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18–20), and to let our light shine through works that cause others to glorify God (Matthew 5:16).

KLOC is not defined primarily by a building, a congregation, or a weekly service. We are a Christ-centered outreach ministry that builds leaders, serves people, strengthens communities, and carries the ministry of Christ wherever God provides an opportunity to serve.

Our Story

Kingdom Life Outreach Center (KLOC) Ministries was founded from a passion to serve people beyond the four walls of the church. Rooted in faith and driven by compassion, KLOC exists to meet people where they are and help them navigate life's challenges through practical support, spiritual encouragement, and meaningful relationships.

The ministry was born from the belief that true ministry extends beyond traditional church services and into the community where people live, work, struggle, and grow. KLOC seeks to create safe spaces where individuals and families can experience hope, healing, empowerment, and a sense of belonging.

Through outreach initiatives, support groups, interfaith fellowship opportunities, health and wellness programs, violence prevention efforts, and community partnerships, KLOC works to address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of the people it serves.

At its core, Kingdom Life Outreach Center Ministries is about building relationships, strengthening families, restoring hope, and empowering individuals to become positive and productive members of their communities. KLOC believes that lasting transformation occurs when people are supported, encouraged, and connected to resources that help them thrive.

Whether through a conversation, a community event, a support group, or a helping hand during a difficult season, KLOC Ministries is committed to demonstrating God's love through service, compassion, and action.

Founder Story

The vision for Kingdom Life Outreach Center Ministries grew out of Bishop Elect Dr. Ann Coles II's lifelong commitment to helping others overcome challenges and discover hope.

As a native Washingtonian, Bishop Elect Ann was raised in a family that modeled generosity, service, and community care. Her parents maintained an open-door home where neighbors, friends, and family members often gathered for encouragement, support, and guidance. Those early experiences taught her the importance of compassion, hospitality, and standing alongside people during difficult times.

Throughout her life, Bishop Elect Ann experienced personal struggles, disappointments, and hardships that gave her a deep understanding of pain, resilience, and healing. Rather than allowing those experiences to make her bitter, she chose to use them as a foundation for serving others.

She believes that some of the most effective ministry comes from people who have faced challenges themselves and can genuinely identify with the struggles of others. This belief continues to shape her approach to ministry today.

Through Kingdom Life Outreach Center Ministries and the Put Your Guns Down and Lift Your Hands Up Movement, Bishop Elect Ann has dedicated her life to helping individuals and families find hope, healing, purpose, and practical solutions to everyday challenges.

Her ministry philosophy is simple: people need support for the whole person—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. By creating safe spaces for honest conversation, encouragement, education, and personal growth, she seeks to help people build stronger lives, stronger families, and stronger communities.

Bishop Elect Ann's life and ministry continue to be guided by her commitment to compassion, service, follow-through, and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to experience hope and transformation.
